FSB 1004, designed by David Chipperfield, reinterprets the logic of the Gropius handle, by reversing it. Instead of moving from square to round, this model starts with a round neck that transitions into a square grip via a soft, angled bend. The result: a handle that’s architectural, tactile, and unmistakably Chipperfield. Especially in bronze, it has become a favorite among architects worldwide. FSB 1134 is available as the matching return variant for FSB 1004.
