FSB 1285 Civic/Commercial range now with matching accessories

Unobtrusive elegance paired with slim-line styling: cooperation between the Franz Schneider Brakel GmbH + Co KG company and celebrated architects Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez gave rise in 2020 to the FSB 1285 handle collection. Its judiciously elaborated detail and superb workmanship have been causing quite a stir ever since it came onto the market. And its timeless design has now been carried over into a series of accessories that include everything from coat hooks and cabinet knobs to numerals and a door viewer. This, then, is a collection that offers perfectly coordinated solutions for all manner of applications in built space.

The heavy-duty FSB 1285 range designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez is set apart by the elegance of its formal vocabulary whilst also facilitating cohesive solutions across a broad range of application scenarios. FSB 1285 re-interprets the conventional cranked lever handle by reducing the offset to a slight adjustment of the radius between the handle's neck and its grip. The design thus ably combines a minimalist approach with painstakingly elaborated technical details of the highest order.

FSB has now supplemented this winning collection with new accessories conducive to an even greater degree of formal cohesiveness both indoors and out. Attention has been given in the new products to everything that directly plays a part in the context of a door. Close cooperation with FSB has lent shape to a portfolio drawn up specifically with types of building in mind in which the related lever handles have been fitted many times over already, notably in hotels or business apartments. The collection has now been joined by a door viewer plus appealingly fashioned door numerals and their supports. The series features three different variants of coat hook and a matching cabinet knob for indoor applications. The new products in the range help define a building’s overall appearance from the very moment a person establishes contact with any of its rooms.

Alongside the new accessories, there are also lever handles for flush doors, frame doors, glazed doors and emergency exit devices pursuant to DIN EN 179 to choose from in the FSB 1285 product collection together with classic window handles, plug-in handles with pared-down roses for doors and windows and a door knob for flush doors. The entire collection is available in Aluminium and is prepared for FSB’s ASL® or AGL® bearing system respectively.
