A society that considers itself highly developed demands the availability of just as highly developed products.

This also involves sustainability. Doors and windows are designed to serve their owners for several decades. A sufficient reason to consider not only the material, design and technology of such products, but also their durability.

Fittings that only just meet the norm are not necessarily comparable with our products. We of FSB cannot and will not be satisfied with mediocrity. Just sufficient is not good enough for us. In our opinion quality does not just happen but is invariably the result of arduous reflection, the sum of many details and a wealth of experience. This means: as a manufacturer of brand products FSB considers meeting the norm only as a minimum requirement. With the help of latest technology, we do everything in our power to achieve better results.

Unfortunately, no norms exist for design, surface quality or the quality of manufacturing processes. FSB regrets this, since comparisons in these areas would probably also distinguish us positively from our competitors. After all, we ensure by many elaborate individual steps that the consistency of the typical FSB surfaces is guaranteed for all products. But critical comparisons are possible even without official tests and comparisons, simply by using one’s own hands and eyes. Such methods may be subjective, yet they are no less impartial.

“Made in Germany” is still a mark of quality in which we can take some pride: FSB door and window fittings are manufactured in Brakel and thus goods of German origin. Certificates of origin and long-term suppliers’ declarations for goods complying with the requirements for preference origin according to EC regulation No. 1207/2001 will be issued upon request. ISO 9001 certification as a desirable prerequisite for participation in public tenders comes just as naturally to FSB as EU Eco Audit validation and ISO 14001 certification.
