Electronic access control

Perfectly safe handling and functioning

Again and again we have ventured to think out of the box, never resting on our laurels.

So we have recently entered electronic territory, which, admittedly, is not strictly our own, and found a partner who not only ranks among the market leaders in electronic locking systems, but also fits in perfectly with our company, due to a similar medium-sized structure: Winkhaus Türtechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Münster. The first fruit of this strategic alliance is the new "EZK" door furniture system, jointly developed by Winkhaus and FSB.

This door furniture system unites the core competences of both enterprises: proven Winkhaus BlueChip technology has been combined with a completely novel range of FSB fittings that has been custom-designed to fit this system and patented.

EZK electronic access control: the modern key experience

Funktionsbild EZK

Traditional mechanical locking systems are increasingly losing ground. Electronic access control systems have now established themselves on the market to meet modern security standards, in cases of keys being lost or access entitlements changing.

We have connected the electronic identification process directly to an extremely compact mechatronical module inside the rose. The heart of this masterpiece in precision engineering is an electronically controlled coupling element, which in case of positive identification releases the lock immediately, so that it can be opened by using the door handle.

Winkhaus BlueChip technology ensures easy integration of the BlueChip profile cylinder in the EZK door furniture system. This cylinder allows opening and closing of the lock – similar to mechanical locking systems – by inserting and turning a key. Thus all types of FSB furniture, such as FSB security furniture or FSB security roses combined with standard FSB door handles, can also be fitted on entrance doors and integrated in a complete electronic access control system to provide additional safety for the entrance of the house.
