Architectural trends towards perfectly flush surfaces incorporating technical elements and design features have led to a significant increase in demand for cut back plates.
Thanks to latest laser technology, FSB is able to produce virtually any form of cut back plates that can be visualised by a vectorised digital file and does not exceed the maximum size of 1,200 x 2,500 mm.
In our current handbook you will find a standard selection of “minimalist” back-plates and roses that in our opinion come very close to the trend described above, due to their thicknesses of 3 and 5 mm and width of only 35 mm. However, these are only suggested as examples. Models in widths of 45 or 55 mm can also be supplied upon request.
FSB offers laser-cut back plates and roses either with
- fixing screws visible on both sides or
- fixing screws visible only on one side and concealed on the other (concealed fixing by means of welded-on thread nuts which simultaneously function as support cams).
Door handle bearings can be supplied either as loose or fixed bearings. The components used are injection-moulded plain bearings made of fibreglass reinforced plastic. Back plates and roses in 3 mm thickness are equipped with a solid stainless steel spacer ring. The FSB stabilizing pin can be fitted on standard-thickness door leaves in combination with these components.
