Door and window fittings in bright colours have met with a positive response from the market for several decades.

They have often figured as the only elements of architectural design in a grey concrete world. Today, a hardware range without such product lines would no longer be conceivable.

FSB sees itself first and foremost as a supplier of door and window furniture made from high-grade metal. We offer lacquer-coated fittings in various colours only to a limited extent. Currently, the colour predominantly in demand is white. However, FSB is prepared to deliver other RAL colours upon request, subject to sufficient order quantities.

To make coloured fittings, FSB uses the cast and polished aluminium models of its standard range. Prior to coating, they undergo a special anodising process. Subsequently, they are electro-statically powder-coated, which is a solvent-free lacquering process. The colour coating is about 80 µm thick. The surface quality, including the non-fade factor, surface hardness and resistance to abrasion, is roughly equal to that of an anodised aluminium surface.
