We have produced nothing but door and window furniture for 125 years.

During this period we have continuously improved not only our products, but also our production processes.

Today’s FSB manufacturing facilities are equipped with latest technology, which handles a major part of our work. Computer-controlled robots pour liquid aluminium into chill-moulds or use hydraulic pressure to form stainless steel blanks.

But then the work pieces are passed on to human hands for further processing and finishing by traditional methods and, above all, to undergo rigorous testing and inspection. This is the only way to reach the high quality standards which FSB guarantees for its products.

High quality standards are vital, since door and window handles are products subject to heavy wear over a long period of time. During opening and closing, the handles and their connections to the building must withstand strong axial and vertical forces. Therefore FSB door handles are made sturdy enough to endure more than 25 years of being used 20 times a day without showing any signs of damage. According to the valid norm, only half this durability would already be sufficient.

But just good enough is not good enough for FSB.
